The story of ardough

At ardough, the heart of each individually handmade dough is Arno, our family grown organic lievito madre (starter). Arno honors the love and time shared breaking bread after work in NYC with our beloved Uncle Joe. Grown with organic Italian flour and 150 g of Tuscan spring water for the length of the Arno River in Italy, our starter represents the roots of our family, our loved ones who will always be with us, and cherished moments around the table with family and friends. This is our story, and we are blessed for the opportunity to have our dough become part of yours.
